From the outset, the treatment, care and consideration I have received from Mr Hanief and his team at The Parapet, has been exemplary. He takes the time to explain fully what will happen before surgery and treatment afterwards. His manner is calming and reassuring and I feel lucky to have had him as my surgeon. I can’t recommend him enough, thank you Mr Hanief

Right from my first visit to the breast clinic I was impressed with the Parapet and Mr Hanief. A mammogram, ultrasound, core biopsy and breast examination were all done in one session. I was very pleased to be seen by Mr Hanief, who has a very calm pleasant manner; he makes you feel at ease and comfortable. The diagnosis was presented to me with great care and sensitivity and I was explained in detail what to expect. Mr Hanief is a skilled surgeon who made the arrangements for my surgery very quickly during the pandemic. I feel very grateful and cannot recommend Mr Hanief highly enough.

Mr Hanief is a very efficient surgeon. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly he made arrangements for the surgery to take place. He wants the best for his patients. I could listen to his advice and trust what he says. I felt very privileged to be under his care.

I was referred to Mr Hanief at the Parapet Breast Clinic King Edward VIII Hospital Windsor, in October 2020. My first appointment with him was to prove very reassuring. We have now reached the year 2018 and after a difficult few years (and five operations) Mr Hanief told me on Wednesday that I was now Cancer Free. This was wonderful news and I would like to express my thanks to Mr Hanief for his Professional Skills, Wonderful Care and Kindness and the Humour he has shown me over time(which I appreciated greatly) Mr Hanief made my road to recovery so much easier and I thank him SO VERY MUCH.

Response from Mr Mohamed Hanief

Thank you for your kind words and appreciation for what we have done as a team at Parapet. During my post-op consultation, what I explained to you was that the cancerous tissue is free of margins, for which you have misundertood as "cancer free". We discussed the overall prognosis based on clinical evidence. If you have any queries, do get in touch with our breast care nurse and I am more than happy to discuss and reassure.
